RATE NOTES
RESERVATION: The property may be reserved for up to 4 working days until a non-refundable 25% deposit of the total rent is received. The balance of 75% must be received no later than 60 days before arrival. If the balance is not paid by the due date, the deposit is forfeit. The Security/Damage Deposit may be paid at the same time or in cash upon arrival. Payment is accepted by Euro bank cheque, direct transfer to a nominated bank account or MasterCard/VISA using PayPal (see Booking & Payment page). The Security/Damage Deposit is refunded upon departure or within 30 days thereafter depending upon circumstances.
ARRIVAL TIME: between 4.00PM and 7.00PM. Times quoted are C.E.T. (Central European Time). Clients should makes themselves familiar with the time differences between countries and must make allowances for flight delays, weather/traffic conditions which may necessitate an overnight stay in a hotel during the journey.
Clients should advise by e-mail their estimated time of arrival 48 hours prior and telephone en route if unforeseen circumstances occur which would lead to an arrival time after 7.00PM. The property owner does not provide a key service after 7.00PM and re-opens at 9.00AM. When reserving flights the client should bear the above in mind as unsociable arrival times mean access to the property may not be available until the following day. Upon arrival at the Nice Airport, it may take as long as one hour to collect the luggage and complete car hiring formalities. Travel to Cannes from the airport takes approximately 25 minutes and to Fayence approximately 45 minutes along Autoroute A8.
DEPARTURE TIME: No later than 10.00AM.
EXTRA CHARGES: Bed and table linen, bathroom, kitchen and beach towels are provided free of charge. Gas consumption including hot water and heating are included in the rental. Electricity consumption for air-conditioning is charged at cost from meter readings (Villa Pascal is entirely air-conditioned, however fans are provided for guests who prefer not use air-conditioning or to use it only in certain areas and at their discretion).
Telepone and Wi-Fi ADSL (2048 Kb) is provided by France Telecom upon request and charged at cost. ADSL 'Livebox' Sagem software and a USB 'dongle' is provided. Should IT assistance for an Internet connection be required, the charge is €100 for the service.
The Exit Cleaning Charge is deducted from the Security/Damage Deposit (see appropriate villa).
RIGHT TO TERMINATE: We reserve the right to terminate without notice where the behaviour of a client or members of his party is causing annoyance, distress or danger to the property owner, the property itself or a third party. No refunds will be made in this event. We also reserve the right to ask the client to leave the property in the event that is over-occupied when the occupancy is clearly stated on the property description and names of genuine occupants are stated on the booking form. DAMAGE & BREAKAGE: Clients are responsible for all damages/breakages during the rental period, whether accidental or negligent. Clients should inform the property owner before departure and replace or pay for whatever has occurred. Major items will necessitate insurance claims and excesses will be deducted from the security deposit.
PROPERTY OWNER’S DISCLAIMER: The property owner does not accept any liability for any loss, damage or additional expenses incurred by clients or any member of the client’s party in connection with the booking and the rental period whatever the cause. The property owner does not accept liability for any injury, death, loss, inconvenience or damage, alteration, delay or cancellation of the booking as a result of war, threat of war, riot or civil strife, terrorist activity (threatened or actual), natural disaster, fire, sickness, weather conditions, action at an airport or port by any government or public authority, technical problems relating to transport and airport regulations caused by technical, mechanical or electrical breakdowns or with the client’s accommodation or other circumstances as amounting to ‘force majeure’ or Acts of God or other similar events beyond the property owner’s control.
